You can get a student's permit on the grounds of internship with an Icelandic company if the internship in Iceland is part of your studies.

You must be granted a temporary work permit in connection with studies.

You must also fulfill all other requirements for a student permit which are:

• prove your identity with a valid passport

• give correct information about your purpose of stay in Iceland,

• demonstrate secure means of support,

• submit health insurance and criminal record.
