Residence permits on the basis of family reunification are for:

• marital and cohabiting spouses,

• children under 18,

• parents aged 67 and older, as well as

• parents of children under 18.

According ot the Foreign Nationals Act, cousins cannot base their residence permits on family reunification.

You can check whether your cousin qualifies for a residence permit on other grounds, such as work or studies.
