I have applied for a permanent residence permit but I am about to travel and my temporary residence permit expires in the meantime. Can I do something?

The processing time for applications for permanent residence permits is much longer than for applications for residence permit renewals.

We therefore advise you to apply for a renewal of your temporary residence permit so that you have a valid residence permit and a valid residence permit card for your trip.
