A permit for a legal separation/divorce will then not be issued at that time.

The spouses have control of whether to seek settlement between themselves, when applicable with the assistance of their lawyers. Either spouse may also decide to request official settlement procedures. Such a claim is made to the district court and a district judge shall appoint an estate administrator.
