Landlord is obliged to register their lease agreements in the HMS Rental Register within 30 days of signing. If the landlord has not registered the lease agreement at the time the property is handed over, the tenant is authorised to register the agreement.

All landlords who rent out a detached house, an apartment, individual rooms, or commercial premises used as a residence are required to register. The duration of the lease agreements is not relevant in this regard.

Rentals through Airbnb are not covered by this requirement.
