Bank account information is incorrect in final settlement, can that be changed?
Yes, this can be done through "Inquiries and communications" on HMS My pages, by email to hms@hms.is or by phone 440-6400.
Note that deposits can only be made to a bank account owned by the applicant.
In the case of an estate of a deceased person, the estate's agent must contact us and supply us with summary progress according to the Commissioner‘s death register, to confirm who the estate's agent is and make sure the deposit will be made into the correct account.
