Yes, it is possible to distribute the payment over up to 12 months, without interest or additional cost. Each payment must be ISK 10.000 or more.
If there are special circumstances, it is possible to request a partial or full cancellation of the debt. In such cases, particular consideration is given to the applicant’s financial and social situation, as well as whether they acted in good faith regarding their entitlement to the payments.
