Applicants can change the rent amount electronically in their application on HMS My pages. If the rent is indexed and the lease was registered electronically, the rent will be updated automatically.
Other changes to the amount must be registered and signed electronically with an authorised registration agent, so the correct rent amount will be used in the calculations of housing benefits.
