How do I apply for citizenship?
You apply by filling in a digital application for Icelandic citizenship.
You must have an electronic certificate to fill out your application, see electronic certificate registration sites.
In order for an application to be approved, you must have lived in Iceland long enough and fulfill all other conditions for being granted Icelandic citizenship.
