Cervical Screening

Women aged 23 to 64 who have received an invitation letter can book an appointment for cervical cancer screening at heilsuvera.is or by calling 422 0500.

• Women are offered cervical screening every three years between the ages of 23 and 29, and every five years between the ages of 30 and 64.

• Midwives perform cervical screening at HSS.

• Screening results are sent to women via island.is.

Breast Screening

Breast screening takes place at HSS twice a year, organized by the Breast Center. Women can book an appointment for breast screening in Suðurnes by
