Who is responsible for the registration of seamen?
The person who has access for conducting registration of the crew on the vessel. The captain/operator may also request that the Icelandic Transport Authority register the crew on the ship. The captain is at all times responsible for keeping all the ship's crew members registered before the ship leaves port.
