The Icelandic Transport Authority considers such requests for European type-approved motorcycles only. This applies in cases where the manufacturer has assumed for modification of power output in order to fulfill the driving licence categories A1 and A2. Only the manufacturer or his/her recognised representative can apply to the Icelandic Transport Authority for such a change. Further information is available here.
