What rules apply to the total weight of cars/vehicles (what can it be)?
The maximum permissible gross weight of any vehicle is recorded on their registration certificate. This is the maximum weight the vehicle can be including passengers and cargo. This is determined by the vehicle manufacturer and will generally not be altered. Further information is available on My pages Island.is.
