Will my passport be taken if I apply for international protection?
Yes, according to Article 24(2) of the Act on Foreigners, all applicants for international protection are obliged to provide a passport and/or other travel documents when submitting their application. The same applies to a spouse or cohabiting partner of the applicant, and children, whether they come at the same time or apply for international protection later.
