Directorate of Immigration: International protection
Who can be the spokesperson for the applicants for protection?
The Directorate of Immigration makes certain requirements for the advocate of applicants for international protection to ensure their suitability and professional conduct. Only those who have applied for, and have been approved, to provide such services, will be appointed advocates by the Directorate.
Note, however, that you are allowed to choose other advocates than the ones on the list for approved advocates to handle your case, but this must be done at your own expense and responsibility.
See further information on advocacy services for applicants for protection.
