Directorate of Immigration: International protection
Who can be the spokesperson for the applicants for protection?
The Directorate of Immigration makes certain requirements for the spokesperson of applicants for international protection to ensure their suitability and professional conduct. Only those who have applied for, and have been approved, to provide such services, will be appointed spokespersons by the Directorate.
Note, however, that you are allowed to choose other advocates than approved spokespersons to handle your case, but this must be done at your own expense and responsibility.
More information on advocacy services for applicants for protection can be found at the Directorates website.
