Directorate of Immigration: International protection
Can I choose my advocate as an applicant for protection?
Yes, when you apply for protection you will sign a form regarding your right to legal assistance where you are offered to take a stand on whether you will be appointed a specific advocate or the next advocate on the list, free of charge.
Should you wish to change your advocate after you have been appointed one, you are responsible for those costs.
See more information on advocacy services for applicants for international protection.
