HVE operates nursing homes in Búðardalur, Hólmavík, Hvammstangi and in Stykkishólm. Short-term rest and rehabilitation admissions are offered to support the ability of individuals to live in their own home for as long as possible.

The focus is on providing good service in the home environment as well as keeping up with the development and innovations within the elderly care service and monitoring the quality and safety of the service.

To apply, you must have undergone a skills and health assessment.

Prerequisite for respite is approved distancing assessment.
