Breast cancer screening

The frequency of the examination is

• every two years between the ages of 40 and 69

• every three years between the ages of 70 and 74

It is planned that a mobile device for breast examination will travel throughout the HVE area of operation except for Akranes. Inspections are announced about a month in advance and are advertised at each location separately.
