Medicinal product renewals
Rutine medicinal products may be renewed
electronically through Heilsuvera
in telephone hours at HVE health centres.
Rules on medicinal product renewals at HVE:
Pharmacy renewals by phone only apply to SFr drugs.
Antibiotics will not be dispensed in a replacement medication by phone, telephone appointments or office hours must be made.
Controlled drugs such as strong painkillers may only be renewed one month at a time and must be brought to a clinic for monitoring at least 1 x a month for this. The aim will be to reduce this drug use as much as possible.
For sedation or hypnosis, the monthly dose may be renewed only once, and not more than three times. If further treatment is needed, it is then necessary to visit the doctor's office.
All regular users of medicinal products should visit the clinic for medical supervision at least annually.
Please do not ask other health information managers or doctors, as there are uniform rules to improve the quality of the service.
It is important for patients to remain off their medication and therefore it is best to have the medication renewed 3-4 days before the last dose is complete.
The dispensing of medicinal products is expected to take up to 2 working days.
