Social Insurance Administration: Professionals - on changes to disability and rehabilitation payments (1)
Is the reduction rate for a disability pension under the new system 45%, the same as for retirement pension payments?
The general exemption limit for disability pension in the new system is ISK 100,000 per month. In addition, there is an exemption limit of ISK 250,000 for employment income for partial disability pension.
This applies to all income that affects the allowance from the Social Insurance Administration, including employment income, pension fund income, and capital income.
