I have a valid assessment until August 31, 2025, and I am entitled to disability pension in the new system. Could partial disability pension be more beneficial for me?
It is best for the individual to check the calculations by using the pension calculator here. There you can calculate payments with partial disability pension on one hand and disability pension on the other.
Individuals whose disability assessment was approved before 1 September 2025 can request to be moved to partial disability in the new system. You can send an email to ororka@tr.is and request guidance regarding the change in payments.
