The Icelandic Medicines Without Harm campaign is managed by a steering committee led by the Directorate of Health. The steering committee meets three times a year to develop, prioritize and monitor the progress of the campaign. It oversees the progress and impact of the campaign, its funding and communications regarding development and progress. Three steering groups are responsible for developing and overseeing the implementation of each priority project: transfer of services and treatment, multidrug therapy and drug treatment of high-risk drugs.
