If you have symptoms of respiratory infection, you should delay your visit. If you need to visit, use a mask and clean your hands before and after your visit.

General visit times to wards

• Weekdays from 4:30pm to 7:30pm

• On weekends and holidays from 2:30pm to 7:30pm

Departments may have different visit times. See information in the departement pages.

No visits allowed to closed wards

Generally, visits are not allowed to closed departments such as:

• Emergency department in Fossvogur

• Maternity ward, Pregnancy and postpartum ward

• Neo-Intensive care unit (NICU)

The presence of other family members than parents in these departments is only allowed in special cases and only with the permission of the administrators.
