Main tasks and responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care, including diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of patients

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans

• Participate in clinical decision-making and contribute medical expertise to improve patient outcomes

• Engage in continuous medical education and contribute to the development of innovative healthcare practices

• Support patient and family education on treatment options, health management, and preventive care

Qualifications

• Licence to practise as a registered doctor

• Education that meets the requirements as defined in the regulation on the education, rights, and obligations of registered doctors and criteria for granting of licenses and specialist licenses. The regulation is issued by the Healthcare Practitioners Act.

• B2 language proficiency in Icelandic unless otherwise specifically agreed upon

• Fluent English (C2 level proficiency)

• Professional ambition and excellent communication skills
