Qualifications - what we are looking for
License to practise as a registered nurse (Valid license to practice as a registered nurse, issued by the relevant authority in the applicant's home country)
Education that meets the requirements as defined in the regulation on the education, rights and obligations of registered nurses and criteria for granting of licenses and specialist licenses. The regulation is issued by the Healthcare Practitioners Act. For applicants educated outside Europe, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSc) or equivalent degree is required to qualify.
A minimum of B2 level proficiency in English according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Language certificates will be requested.
At least A1 level proficiency in Icelandic (CEFR) at the start of employment; willingness to participate in continued Icelandic language learning is expected.
A motivated, adaptable, and dedicated professional, eager to grow and contribute to an international healthcare environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with patients, colleagues, and multidisciplinary teams.
A minimum two year experience in clinical nursing practice is required. Previous international work experience is an advantage.
A strong commitment to patient care, ethical practice, and continuous professional development.
