Repeat prescriptions can be renewed

• electronically through Heilsuvera

• or by calling HSN clinics.

Note the following:

• Prescription renewals by phone only apply to SFr drugs.

• All regular users of medicinal products should visit the clinic for medical supervision at least annually.

• It is important for patients to remain on their medication and therefore it is best to have the medication renewed at least a week before the last dose is complete.

• It can take up to 3 weekdays to get a renewal.

Controlled drugs

• Narcotic analgesics and other controlled substances may only be renewed for one month at a time. For this, a checkup of at least once per month is required. The aim will be to reduce this drug use as much as possible.

• For sedation or hypnosis, the renewal is only for one month at a time, and not more than three times. If further treatment is needed, it is necessary to see a doctor.
