Kristín Heimisdóttir is currently working as a psychologist at HSN in Þórshöfn, Langanes. When she started studying at the age of 38, she hadn’t thought of moving away to work as a psychologist. She wanted to work in her hometown and show that it’s possible to work as a psychologist anywhere in the country.

The Teddy Bear Hospital will be open for injured or sick teddy bears on Saturday October 12th. Teddy bears and their owners are welcome at the HSN Akureyri Health Care Center Sunnuhlíð, where medical students receive them.

A significant equipment donation to HSN in Húsavík

Framsýn trade union delivered a gift of 15 million ISK to the HSN sponsoring association in Þingeyjarsýsla yesterday. The gift includes a number of devices, including a complete heart echocardiogram that greatly improves the facilities of HSN doctors in Húsavík and the surrounding area.
