The Career Fair is held annually to introduce 9th and 10th grade students to the diverse job opportunities in the Eyjafjörður area. Many young people from schools all over North Iceland attended the fair.

HSN had excellent representatives at the Career Fair, including Sigríður Dagný, Ragnheiður Diljá, Auður Karen, Ingibjörg Ragna, Sigrún Elva and Valtýr Aron. They introduced HSN's activities and the work of its staff. The young attendees were asked what they wanted to be when they grew up, and it was interesting to see that many of them were interested in working in the healthcare sector.

HSN received a lot of attention, and the young people showed great interest in its activities. Many were surprised by the variety of jobs available at HSN. The reception of teenagers in Akureyri sparked interest, and more information can be found here.
