Home nursing services

The goal of home nursing is to enable patients to live as long as possible in their own home despite illness, health problems or impaired skills.

Home nursing is provided to people of all ages that live at home and need specialized and focused nursing care to be able to live as normal lives as possible.

Home nursing services are responsible for providing a variety of services to people who, due to their illness, disability or age, require assistance with activities of daily life. The service aims to strengthen and maintain the mental and physical health of the individual and reduce isolation and symptoms of disease. Also to support independent living and/or to create conditions for living as normal lives as possible despite limitations.

The service is temporary and provided while professional nursing services are required. The service is mostly provided during the daytime on weekdays, but also at other times where the need is urgent.
