The Directorate of Labour is under the Ministry of Social Affairs and the Labour Market and operates in four main areas:

  • the advisory sphere

  • multicultural

Directions

Bullying policy

It is the policy of the Directorate of Labour that employees always show their colleagues courtesy and respect in communication.

Equal pay policy

The Directorate of Labour’s policy is that all employees enjoy equal pay and equal conditions for the same or equally valuable work, so that no indiscriminate wage difference exists.

Climate policy

The Directorate of Labour has set a target of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 40% by 2030.

Human resources policy

The human resources policy aims to recruit, cultivate and maintain the human resources necessary for the Directorate to fulfill its purpose and objectives.

Information and promotional policy

The Directorate of Labour provides good access to information on the issues the agency is handling and on its tasks.

Security policy

The Directorate of Labour operates an information system in a secure manner with the objective of returning to its statutory role and, where appropriate, ensuring that information is correct, available and that confidentiality is maintained.
