The Icelandic Transport Authority: Monitoring and inspection

Is it possible to have a tractor inspected at an inspection station?

Yes, inspection station may accept tractors subject to inspection. Tractors with a speed of more than 40 km/h and which are directly intended for use on public roads are subject to inspection. The owner is responsible for notifying the Icelandic Transport Authority for this use, and the tractor will then be registered as subject to inspection and receive an inspection sticker.
