Status on the application is not listed on the website of the Icelandic Transport Authority. Exemptions for transportation are issued on the same day unless the applicant is informed otherwise. It is not possible to guarantee that requests for exemptions in respect of size and weight received after 13.00 hours will be processed on the same day. It should be noted that the Icelandic Road Administration will give itself up to ten working days to process exemptions if a special inspection is needed of a bridge or other traffic infrastructure on a transport route.
