Where can I find information about facilities in nursing such as where do they provide private rooms, how big are the rooms or example drawings of spaces?
Unfortunately, the ease of access to this information varies between households. By far the most common is that people have private rooms. On Island.is you can find an overview of all nursing homes and it is best to contact directly the homes you are interested in visiting.
It is very good to look at more than one place and choose a home that is likely to make the person in question feel comfortable.
