SELMA is a team of nurses and doctors whose goal is to improve healthcare services for people who have home care services and suffer from sudden illness or deterioration in their health. The team is a sponsor for home care services. The services are visits and telephone consultations. This service is only available in Reykjavik.

The team leader of the home healthcare clinic or the general practitioner may request a visit from SELMU if it is considered necessary.
