What happens after I submit an application for a skills and health assessment?

After the application for skills and health assessment is submitted to the skills and health assessment committee, the application is considered at a meeting of the committee. The Skills and Health Committee calls for a nursing letter, a doctor's letter and a social worker's letter before an application is submitted to a meeting.

A written response from the committee will be received by e-mail if an e-mail address has been registered on the application. Otherwise, a reply will be sent by letter to the next of kin's address given when filling out the application.
