After a total of 3 years in rehabilitation, or a total of 36 months, the extension is reviewed in more detail than before.
Rehabilitation of previous occupational competence must have shown increased work ability or participation in employment. The reason for the re-entry to the labour market must be demonstrated.
It is also evaluated whether increased employment participation is a viable option.
If the increased labour force participation rate is assessed as realistic, rehabilitation can be extended by a maximum of 2 years, or 24 months.
If the employment participation rate is not considered realistic, you can consult your doctor.
