Integrated expert assessment
An integrated assessment is a prerequisite for receiving a disability pension or part-time disability pension.
All applicants aged 18 to 67 applying for disability pension or partial disability pension undergo an integrated expert assessment, which is a standardized evaluation of an individual's ability to function in the labor market, where skills, disability, and health are comprehensively assessed in a broad sense. The assessment is based on ICF, classification system maintained by the World Health Organization (WHO).
To undergo an integrated assessment, rehabilitation must be fully experienced or not possible.
An integrated expert assessment replaced the disability assessment on 1. September 2025.
How is an integrated expert assessment carried out?
