Integrated expert assessment

You need an integrated expert assessment to get:

• disability pension

• partial disability pension

This applies to people who apply after 1 September 2025.

An integrated expert assessment is a test.
It measures how much you can work.

The assessment looks at:

• your skills

• your disability

• your health

Can I get an integrated expert assessment?

First, you must go through rehabilitation.

Is your rehabilitation finished?
Then you can get an integrated expert assessment.

If you cannot do rehabilitation,
You can also get an integrated expert assessment.

There are 4 possible results:

• 0–25% work capacity
  You can get a disability pension from the Social Insurance Administration.

• 26–50% work capacity
  You can get a partial disability pension from the Social Insurance Administration.

• Rehabilitation not finished
  You may get a new medical and rehabilitation allowance.

• More than 50% work capacity
  You will not get any payments.
