Why is the grant for nutritional drinks or thickeners not covering all the use?
The payment participation is 90% grant with a certain maximum amount per month. If the use is greater, the user may have to pay in full for parts himself.
Individuals with a approved purchasing authorisation can purchase nutritional drinks/powder and thickeners at contract price from Fastus ehf. and Icepharma hf. (distributor: Parlogis, Krókháls 14). The benefit to users could be a more advantageous price but it is allowed to purchase the nutritional drinks/powder from other sellers.
