How many continuous glucose monitoring sensors that scans blood sugar do I get approved?
It depends on the type of sensor since they have different service lifetime. In addition to the quantity to be sufficient for each 12-month period, a number of extra sensors are approved.
Approved amount of sensors for each 12-month period:
Dexcom: 42 sensors (each sensor lasts for about 10 days)
Guardian: 65 sensors (each sensor lasts for about 6 days)
