Can you apply for a grant if hearing aids are purchased abroad?

Grants are only awarded for purchases from suppliers licensed by the Ministry of Health. In addition to The National Hearing and Speech Institute of Iceland, they are: Heyrðu, Heyrn, Heyrnartækni, Heyrnarstöðin and Lyfja Heyrn. As a result, it is not possible to apply for a grant to purchase hearing aids abroad.
