Iceland Health: Assistive devices and nutrition
I had joint replacement (hip or knee replacement), am I entitled to any assistive devices?
Those who undergo hip surgery or a surgery for a broken thigh are entitled to borrow the following assistive devices for three months: a toilet seat raiser, bed raising blocks, coxit seat cushion, gripper, stocking stuffer and bath board/shower chair in exceptional circumstances. Those who undergo knee surgery are not entitled to assistive devices.
