How does the payment participation in nutrition and special diet work?

A purchasing authorisation is issued for nutrition and special diet stating the payment rate and the maximum amount per month. When buying, the personal identification number of the individual is given by the seller who looks up the payment participation in Gagnagátt. Individuals pay their share directly to the seller. Sellers send an invoice for the purchases to Iceland Health.
