Monthly deductions
If you receive payments from the Social Insurance Administration, the debt will automatically be distributed over 12 months. You will receive less each month until you have paid back the full amount.
The maximum amount is 20% of the payments you receive.
The minimum monthly deduction is 3.000 ISK.
If the amount is more than 20% of your payments, payments are deducted from TR and a payment slip for the difference is sent for the difference until the debt is paid.
