Foreign service providers operating in Iceland for more than ten working days must submit certain information to the AOSH.

Foreign service providers are subject to tax in Iceland and must comply with Icelandic tax legislation. The same applies to posted employees.

Undertakings that fail to comply with the provisions of the Act on Posted Workers and the Obligations of Foreign Service Providers may be subject to penalties.
