Foreign service providers and posted workers (Posting.is)
Foreign service providers, established within the European Economic Area (EEA), an EFTA state or the Faroe Islands, are permitted to temporarily post employees (posted employees) to Iceland to provide services.
This page provides information on the documentation that foreign service providers are required to submit to the Administration of Occupational Safety and Health (AOSH) and their obligations towards their employees. Similar rules apply to foreign self-employed individuals who come to Iceland to provide services.

What information must be submitted to the AOSH?
A foreign service provider that operates in Iceland is required to provide the Administration of Occupational Safety and Health (AOSH) with information about its operations, the undertaking itself and the employees posted to Iceland.

A foreign service provider must submit copies of the employment contracts of employees posted to Iceland to the Administration of Occupational Safety and Health (AOSH).
