Two Decades of Public Land Research Completed

The National Archives is the largest collection of primary sources of information on the history of the Icelandic nation and the development of settlement in Iceland and is therefore the foundation of research, administration and human rights in this country. The National Archives is the archive of the entire nation and the public has access to the archives, both on its website and in its reading room.
