The research laboratory is a center for research in maternity, women’s, children and family studies.

Researchers can carry out their research projects within the laboratory, including in cooperation with other scientific disciplines, as long as the subjects are related to the above mentioned subjects.

The laboratory belongs

• The Women's and Children's Department of the National University Hospital of Iceland and is assisted and cooperated with the Department of Science and Education, the clinical research center of the National University Hospital of Iceland.
