Training in Good Clinical Practice
Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
ICH-GCP (Good Clinical Practice) is an international standard for the preparation and execution of clinical drug trials. The principal investigator is responsible for training research staff.
All staff involved in drug trials must be GCP-trained.
This training is beneficial for all human scientific research.
It's generally required to update GCP training every 2-3 years.
Various sponsors and pharmaceutical companies provide training for staff within specific scientific studies.
