Iceland remains in 5th place in UN survey

Iceland holds fifth place in a survey of digital public services and infrastructure in UN member states.

The review is intended to compare how countries are doing with regard to user-friendly digital services, digital infrastructure, and competence and how well countries use information technology to make services accessible to individuals and businesses. The survey can therefore be used to learn from the good practices and thus influence digital services policy.

The results of another European survey, the EU eGovernment Benchmark, give the same indication, where Iceland ranks 4th according to the last results.
